Full Member

Full members are physicians or scientists with an advance degree who have valid credentials indicating their professional activity--either medical, paramedical, investigational, or educational--in the scienfitic or clinical disciplines concerned with the diagnostic, therapeutic, or investigational use of radionuclides. Full members have the right to vote and to hold elective office.

Dues:  $240 National dues + $35 Chapter dues

Associate Member

Associate members are scientists with a Baccalaureate or Master's equivalent qualifications, and who have valid credentials indication their professional activity--either medical, paramedical, investigational, or educational--in the scientific or clinical disciplines concerned with the diagnostic, therapeutic, or investigational use of radionuclides. Associate members have the right to vote but may not hold elective office, unless otherwise provided.

Dues:  $150 National dues + Chapter dues. Chapter dues are $25 for Northern California or Southern California chapters or $30 for the Pacific Northwest chapter.

Technologist Voting Member

Technologist Voting members have valid credentials indicating their professional activity in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Technologist Voting members have the right to vote in SNM, Inc. elections, but cannot hold elective office. They also automatically become members of the SNM Technologist Section and have full voting rights within the Section.

Dues:  $103 National dues + Chapter dues. Chapter dues are $25 for Northern California or Southern California chapters or $30 for the Pacific Northwest chapter.

Technologist Member (Regular)

Technologist (Regular) members have valid credentials indicating their professional activity in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Technologist (Regular) members do not have the right to vote in SNM, Inc. elections or to hold elective office, unless otherwise provided. They do, however, automatically become members of the SNM Technologist Section and have full voting rights within the Section.

Dues:  $93 National dues + Chapter dues. Chapter dues are $22 for Northern California or Southern California chapters or $24 for the Pacific Northwest chapter.

Affiliate Member

Affiliate members are members of industry or other individuals not working directly in the field, but committed to the advancement of nuclear medicine. Affiliate members do not have the right to vote or hold elective office.

Dues:  $175 National dues + $30 Chapter dues.

In-training Member

In-Training (Student/Resident) members must present adequate documentation that they are in-training and qualify for a category of membership other than Affiliate. In-training members may not vote or hold elective office. Upon completion of an in-training program, membership is upgraded to that of a regular membership category.

Dues:  $30 National dues + $2.50 Chapter dues.

Emeritus Member

Emeritus members are individuals who are fully retired from the field of nuclear medicine and have held Society membership for a minimum of ten (10) consecutive years. Emeritus members have the full privileges of the membership category from which they entered, except the right to hold elective office. Regular Emeritus membership is complimentary and does not include shipment of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine or Journal of Nuclear Medicine Technology. However, Emeritus members do have the option of paying $60.00/year to receive the either Journal if they so choose.

Fellow Status Member

In order to recognize members of the Technologist Section who have demonstrated leadership and have made a significant contribution to the profession of Nuclear Medicine Technology at the national level, the Technologist Section has instituted a Fellow Member Category.
